In many parts of Indonesia, a Blow Gun is the weapon of choice. On my first trip to Java I purchased one for my art collection. Sometimes, when I am traveling I find an item that is truly unique and one of a kind. I don’t think about looking for more because I am happy to have found the one I have. When I returned with this bone carved blow gun everyone wanted one! A primitive weapon of the Sumpit Tribe, this delicately carved work of art is an actual blow gun used by many natives of Indonesia. It is painstakingly carved out of bone and adorned in the form of a Dragon. Remove the tail, place in the first dart and blow. If your eyesight is keen you catch the dart as it flies from the mouth of the Dragon. Each Blow Gun includes authentic handmade darts. One dart rests under the dragons head for quick loading and the others are stored in the chamber which hangs below the gun. The complete Blow Gun measures approx. 3 ft.
